ULASAN 2 - DEADLOCKS

ULASAN 2 - DEADLOCKS Video berjudul “ deadlocks- operating systems ” merupakan video yang dipublikasikan pada tanggal 25 Juli 2016 oleh account Dakshina Kumaresan . Video yang membahas deadlock ini berdurasi 8 menit 23 detik. Video ini sudah ditonton sebanyak 185 kali dengan 3penonton menyukai konten video ini. Video ini dapat ditonton melalui link https://youtu.be/1NAzoeKmHd8 Deadlock terjadi ketika ada dua atau lebih proses yang menunggu sebuah event untuk terjadi yang disebabkan oleh salah satu dari proses tersebut. Deadlock dapat muncul karena 4 kondisi yaitu, mutual exclusion, hold and wait, no preemption dan circular wait. Pada video tersebut juga dijelaskan mengenai resource-allocation graph dan contohnya. Menurut saya, video tersebut cukup informatif. Namun, ada beberapa bagian yang belum dijelaskan dengan terperinci, yaitu pada bagian mengenai definisi deadlock.
